Hi, I'm Ayesha
I am Wasequa Ayesha Mir, registered Nutritionist.
B.Sc. M.Sc. CNMDip. CISNcert, mBANT, CNHC.
I am a passionate educator and believe that nutrition matters in preventing chronic illnesses and maintaining physical, emotional, spiritual, & mental health. Simple nutritional tools can make a huge difference in health from being dis ‘eased’ to being at ease. Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles including dietitian, lecturer, and community food & health practitioner.
With more than 2 decades of working experience I believe that tailored approach is the best in correcting nutritional deficiencies which could be contributing to chronic illnesses like obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular issues, and autoimmunity.
Having a comprehensive approach to health, I consider body as sum of its parts, hence one part of the body cannot act in isolation from the other. This approach has helped me work with complex cases of autoimmunity, gut health, hormone balance, stress & sleep regulation.
I myself enjoy a good, hard training session apart from running, cycling, hiking, yoga, meditation, and nature walking. My own experience with post viral arthritis led me to take further interest in understanding the complex science behind my illness and how I can apply functional nutritional science to live healthy active life despite my illness.
Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
